Join our team for the AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run and help us “Pack the Park with HOPE” on Sunday, October 22^nd! With your support, we can make a difference for those infected with, or affected by, HIV/AIDS right here in Atlanta.

Jerusalem House

An Atlanta nonprofit, Jerusalem House helps homeless and low-income individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS by providing housing and supportive services. Research shows that someone who has stable housing is much more likely to see their doctor regularly and take their medications. More than 85 percent of our residents see improved health within their first year of living at a Jerusalem House program. Housing also helps prevent new HIV infections because people with stable housing are less likely to engage in risky behavior. Having a place to call home means that our residents can focus on getting better and taking the next steps in their lives.

Did you know that in the U.S., 1 in 5 persons infected with HIV is unaware of their status? (Source: Kaiser Family Foundation.) Talking openly about HIV can reduce the stigma that keeps too many from seeking the testing, prevention and treatment services, and support they need.
