COVID-19 Policies for Health Force of Georgia

The health and safety of our patients, employees, and their families are of the utmost importance to us. Health Force of Georgia is monitoring the ongoing coronavirus outbreak paying close attention to recommendations from local, state, and federal officials on how to handle this pandemic.

Health Force of Georgia will continue providing services to clients on their normal schedules implementing additional precautionary measures to provide the safest environment for all. We provide caregivers with appropriate personal protective equipment such as masks, face shields, gloves, and gowns to keep both our clients and themselves safe.

Caregivers check their temperature every day. If they have a temperature or other symptoms such as a cough, difficulty breathing, or think they might be sick in any way, they stay at home and do not report to work. We are asking them to notify their physician for diagnosis and treatment, and getting medical clearance before returning to work.

Replacement caregivers will be offered to accommodate each patient’s needs and schedule if the regular caregiver is not available.

As recommended by the CDC, we encourage caregivers and clients to do frequent hand washing and to use protective measures such as sneezing or coughing into a tissue or their elbow to prevent any possible transmission of the virus.

Our goal is to keep everyone as safe as possible during this global pandemic. Please call (770) 458-8500 if you have any questions on our protocols for managing COVID-19. Thank you from Health Force of Georgia.
