Who Qualifies for CCSP?

To enroll in CCSP, you must meet these requirements:

  • Residency: Live in Georgia.
  • Age or Disability: Be 65 or older, or under 65 with a qualifying physical disability (those enrolled before 65 can continue after turning 65).
  • Medicaid Eligibility: Qualify for Medicaid based on financial criteria. In 2025, the income limit for a single applicant is $2,901/month (300% of the Federal Benefit Rate). Married couples have flexible income and asset rules, including a Spousal Income Allowance to support non-applicant spouses.
  • Functional Need: Have physical or cognitive impairments requiring nursing home-level care, as verified by a physician.
